Now she tells us.

Karine Jean Pierre, former Press Secretary to President Joe Biden, was fantastic at her job.

Those training in the field should study her adroitness, unshakability, and poise under pressure. She never failed to deflect awkward questions and always did her job with finesse.

Of course, she didn’t always tell the truth —  but that wasn’t really her job. We’re in a post-truth world anyway. Today, it’s “my truth”, “your truth” and the most popular, “Speaking Truth to Power.”

And what is truth anyway?

When it comes to politics, the truth depends on which news channels you frequent. The progressive mediasphere and the conservative mediasphere are telling two completely different “truths” every single day.

Long gone are the days when we one nation, united under Walter Cronkite.

Still, former White House Press Secretary Karine Jean Pierre lied to the American people. Repeatedly.

She must have done.

Someone as smart and astute as Karine Jean-Pierre must have noticed what the American people noticed during the infamous June 2024 debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden.

After that public disaster, President Joe Biden’s diminished capacity could no longer be denied, dismissed, or explained away with fun new catchphrases like “Cheapfake.”

Karine Jean-Pierre must have known long before, like all the other high-level Biden staffers. Obviously, she said nothing. While her loyalty may be commendable, her reasoning is now coming into sharper focus.

Karine Jean-Pierre never thought Kamala Harris could win the election.

Karine Jean-Pierre Tells Her ‘Truth’ About How She Thought 2024 Election Would Go,” reveled Ron Dicker for HuffPost on October 22, 2025.

Ms. Jean-Pierre did more than tell “her truth.”

She wrote a book about it.

Independent: A Look Inside a Broken White House, Outside the Party Lines by Karine Jean-Pierre was released on October 21, 2025.

So far, the reviews have not been kind.

“The truth was, I never really believed Harris could win,” confessed Jean-Pierre frankly in her book. “I’d been in the body of a Black woman all my life. I’d stood at the podium in the White House briefing room, traveled in my chocolate skin through rural towns, and all my experiences of blistering stares and racist assumptions left me unable to see this country electing a president who looked like me.”

Ms. Jean-Pierre didn’t hold back on the Democratic Party, either.

“It was deeply disturbing that after shoving Biden aside in a disgraceful display, the party’s elders couldn’t summon enough know-how to help an intelligent, accomplished attorney like Harris defeat an ignorant former reality TV star,” she wrote. “The party had to redefine its mission, and figure out a way to move forward without publicly tearing apart our standard bearers or leaving their successors dangling in the wind.”

But while admitting she never thought Kamala Harris could win, Jean-Pierre is still defensive when the subject of the cover-up of Biden’s health comes up — which it frequently does.

But until Democrats come fully clean about Biden’s decline, how it was concealed, who concealed it, who was making critical decisions if President Biden wasn’t up to it, why couldn’t top military advisors speak to Biden in the run-up to the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal, and a dozen other questions, it will be hard for the Democratic Party to move forward.

It is for these reasons, and others, that New Jersey is on the verge of electing a Republican governor.

It is for these reasons, and others, that Democratic Party donors are still in a state of open revolt against party leadership.

Democratic Donors Sit on Sidelines as Party Schism Persists,” revealed Eliza Collins, John McCormick, and Tarini Parti for the Wall Street Journal this week. “Republican National Committee had $86 million in cash reserves at start of October, compared with $12 million for its Democratic counterpart.”

Everyone involved in the Biden White House, or covering the Biden White House, is suddenly writing books, pointing fingers, and naming names.

But so far, no one is willing to take responsibility for their part in the disastrous 2024 election.

Will anyone?
